Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz) white fish fillets (e.g., cod, tilapia, halibut)
  • 1/2 cup Garlic & Herb Bread Crumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp NON-GMO AVOCADO OIL EXPELLER PRESSED
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Steps

  1. 1

Pat fish fillets very dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

Set up a breading station: place beaten egg in one shallow dish and Garlic & Herb Bread Crumbs in another.

  3. 3

Dip each fish fillet into the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off, then press into the bread crumbs, ensuring a thorough and even coating on all sides.

  4. 4

Heat NON-GMO AVOCADO OIL EXPELLER PRESSED in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  5. 5

Carefully place the breaded fish fillets into the hot oil. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden brown and cooked through (fish flakes easily with a fork).

  6. 6

Remove fish from skillet and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
