A smoky emerald punch that billows with dry-ice vapor — striking enough to anchor any Halloween table.
1. Whisk the matcha and spirulina into the lime juice until fully dissolved and no lumps remain — this is the color base.
2. Combine the green apple juice, pineapple juice, elderflower liqueur, blue curaçao, and the matcha-lime mixture in a large pitcher and stir well; refrigerate until very cold.
3. Just before serving, pour the chilled base into a cauldron-style punch bowl or deep black bowl, then top with the ginger beer and stir gently to preserve the fizz.
4. Float lime slices and mint sprigs on the surface for garnish.
5. Using tongs and heat-resistant gloves, carefully lower dry-ice chunks into the bowl — they will immediately produce rolling vapor; never handle dry ice with bare hands.
6. Ladle into glasses, avoiding any dry-ice pieces, and serve immediately while the mist effect lasts (typically 5–10 minutes per charge of dry ice).
