Creamy whipped ricotta meets dark chocolate in a striking spiderweb pattern — a sweet dip for crackers or fruit.
1. Beat the ricotta and cream cheese together with a hand mixer or in a food processor until completely smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Fold in the honey, vanilla, and sea salt.
2. Spread the whipped ricotta mixture into a shallow serving bowl, smoothing the top into an even white surface.
3. Melt the dark chocolate with the heavy cream and butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until glossy. Transfer to a small ceramic pitcher or squeeze bottle and let cool slightly until it thickens to a pourable ribbon consistency, about 5 minutes.
4. Starting from the center of the dip, slowly trail the chocolate sauce in a thin spiral outward to the edges to form concentric circles.
5. Draw a toothpick or skewer from the center outward at evenly spaced intervals around the bowl to create a spiderweb pattern.
6. Tuck fresh herb sprigs around the edge and serve immediately with crackers.
